Boxer Glove Tournament Rules "Augusta's Hardest Hitter"

A - $5 per person to enter / $10 per team (NO REFUNDS)

B - Each person pays for his / her own punch each round

C - Double elimination tournament

D - Losing team will be placed in "Loser Bracket"

E - Team will be eliminated after second loss

F - The finalist from the winner’s bracket will need to win one time in the finals to win tournament.

G - The finalist from the loser’s bracket will need to win two times in the finals to win tournament

H - After entry time deadline (approx. 10pm) each contestant will draw for placement on tournament bracket

I - If more than 16 teams sign up any given week the tournament may be split into two tournaments with the winners of each tournament from that night punching in the finals (best 2 out of 3 being determined the winner of that week)

J - Each person will get 1 punch per round unless player is touched during their punch. At which time player can punch again but will have to pay for the extra punch. Tournament host is only one that can make "the Call" for a re-punch. We will take score from each person on team and get average. The average score of team will be score for the round.

K - During punch contestant must have at least one foot on metal at bottom of "Boxer Glove". If host / judge rules that foot wasn’t on metal or came off metal during punch contestant will be given the score of zero (0) for that round and not allowed to re-punch.

L - When it is a team’s turn during any given round the teams name will be called by host. That team will then have 2 minutes to report to host. If after 2 minutes team has not reported to host team may be disqualified from tournament. This will be the call of the host.

M - Host must see contestant punch and score on Boxer Glove for it to count.

N - In case of Tie each contestant / team may agree to punch again (at their expense) till tie is broken, both must agree to this. If one or both do NOT agree to punch again then tie breaker will be a coin toss. Contestant / team whose name is on top on the bracket can call the side or let other puncher call it. Who's ever side of coin it lands on will be determined the winner of the round. Host will flip coin and have final say on team that will advance to next round.

O - The top 2 teams will be asked back for the tournament finals and compete for the title of "Hardest Hitter" on / or about Thursday, March 22nd, 2012, 8pm at Coyotes nightclub. Contestants may not be on more than one team any given week and may only go to the finals on one team. Team members may NOT be replaced unless approved by judges. Most cases this will only be approved with doctors note because team member is advised not to be in contest.

P - Each weekly winning team will win 60% of total entry fee collected. Winning team will be paid 50% of prize money at end of weekly round and be paid 50% of prize money at the end of the final Tournament held during March 2012. Must compete in final tournament to collect second half of winnings.

Q - Coyotes has the right to ask back teams to be in finals during March to fill any open spots in tournament.

R - Each Tournament night must end no later than 2:30am. If it is determined that tournament will run past that time the remaining teams will be asked to come back the next Thursday night at 7pm to finish tournament.

S - Tournament finals during March 2012 will be double elimination tournament. Same rules will apply for this round as others. Teams of this night will NOT have to pay $10 fee.

T - Over All Prizes Are As Listed and may be subject to change: 1st place - "Hardest Hitter" Title and $500 in cash and prizes / 2nd place - $200 in gift cards / 3rd place - $100 in Gift Cards. Prize money may be paid in form of Check, Gift Card may be exclusive to one location (ex - Coyotes Nightclub, Roadrunner Cafe, etc.)

U - Tournament will be held each Thursday night at Coyotes, 2512 Peach Orchard Rd, Augusta, GA 30906, starting Thursday, Jan 19th through Thursday, March 15th. Finals to be held Approx. March 22nd, 2012. Tournament may skip one or more Thursday nights due to concert and / or special event. Check website www.coyotesaugusta.com for info.

V – Coyotes and sponsors have right to use name / photos of teams and winners in advertising and promotional items / sites (Facebook, twitter, website, etc.).

W – Contest Entities, and their parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies and advertising and promotion agencies and sponsors, assume no liability and are not responsible for, and you hereby forever waive any rights to any claim in connection with, injury or damage to any entrants or to / from any other person, property related to or resulting from participating in this Contest. Coyotes, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any entrant from participating in the Contest, refuse to award Prize(s), and require the return of a Prize(s), if entrant engages in any conduct Coyotes deems to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of the Contest or detrimental to other entrants. Contestants must be 21 or older with picture ID. All contestants must sign a waiver before being in contest. By entering contest contestant understands and agrees with all rules for contest. Coyotes reserves the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Contest.
